Brisbane to get specialist domestic and family violence court – Lawyers Weekly

Queensland Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Shannon Fentiman has announced funding for a specialist domestic and family violence (DFV) court in Brisbane.

Following the announcement of funding for a specialist DFV court to be established in Cairns, Minister Fentiman has announced $19.7 million to be rolled out over four years to establish one in Brisbane.
