‘They like to keep trophies’: calls to ban mobile phones in daycares

The reprehensible accounts of child predation in Australian daycares recently has caused a new series of debates on what should and should not be allowed in child care centres.

Child safety advocates are pushing for a ban on mobile phone use by staff when working with young children, with the aim of preventing photos from leaking online.

Bravehearts Inc. founder Hetty Johnston told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings it’s an insidious fact that child predators use phones to collect and trade “trophies”.

“A lot of childcares are already banning mobile phones; it’s not unusual, and more owners are realising how important it is,” Ms Johnston said.

  1. There seem to be a lot of strange men now wanting to get close to children.

If the Child Care places are not safe then God only knows how safe the visits to the Libraries are with the Drag Queens all desperate to cuddle the kids at story time.

And then there’s the obligatory ‘sit on Santa’s knee’ at Xmas.

Not to mention the transwomen who want to hang out naked in the women’s and girls change rooms.

And then there is the rise and rise of Furries. All strange men dressed up like children’s favourite cartoon characters.

Where do we draw the line about children’s safety?

Maybe a Royal Commission into this whole unsavoury scene is needed, and pronto too.
