Uninformed Consent: The Transgender Crisis – Paul McHugh and Gerard V. Bradley, Commentary Magazine

Arkansas legislators in April enacted (over the governor’s veto) a law banning “gender transition services” for any transgender individual under the age of 18, believing such persons too young to provide sound “informed” consent. Substantial scientific evidence supports this view.

But before it could take effect in July, four families of gender-dysphoric children and two doctors (with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union) challenged the law, alleging that it lacks any foundation in science.

The truth is quite to the contrary.
