When I think of how many years and how much work went into say Abortion Law Reform and yet this, to me, easy acceptance of transgender language and actions causes me to be amazed! In fact , any social reform e.g., votes for women took years and years? I joined the abortion movement in around 1960s. It is now 2021 and only recently real law reform was achieved! I think any colleagues still alive would listen to this information and think ‘Not again’? I do not want to see anyone suffer from discrimination but it seems this movement is indeed strong; from where do they get their support ? I cannot believe there are enough people dissatisfied with their gender to wield such power ? There must be another force?
